I’ll recount the highlights of my professional journey so far. Here I will also enumerate the notable contributions that I made towards the organization and my responsibilities.

Jan’09 to Present Date : ETV Network, Kolkata, India
The company is India’s only 12 bouquet regional television channels. The Company in the past 9 years, has reached to all the television households across India / USA / Australia / Bangladesh.
UEPL is a company that offers comprehensive production and post-production services for television soaps (fiction, non-fiction & events), documentaries, advertisement commercials & music albums.
Senior Manager – Operations (ETV-Bangla & Oriya)
March’06 to Dec’08 : ETV Network (Ushodaya Enterprise Private Limited), Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad-India
The company is India’s only 12 bouquet regional television channels. The Company in the past 9 years, has reached to all the television households across India / USA / Australia / Bangladesh.
UEPL is a company that offers comprehensive production and post-production services for television soaps (fiction, non-fiction & events), documentaries, advertisement commercials & music albums. Housed in the State-of-the-art, and now the world’s largest (Guinness records 2005) technical facilities at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, it is a part of the Ramoji group of companies that boasts of a large media presence through its 12 regional TV channels (ETV network) & a largest circulating regional language newspaper (Eenadu) among many other businesses in India.
Notable Contributions:

Forming and retaining long-term relationships as an ‘Extended-Partner’ with our clients & helping to translate their ‘Online vision to reality’.

Entrusted with the responsibility of handling the complete ramp-up of the sales team, programming & news team with an objective to gain major inroads into the audio-visual industry in India

Accountable for the Strategic Planning Team for achieving organizational objectives & actively initiated cost-effective partner development programmes for managing key accounts.

Spearheading a Core Team of over 500 personnel including 6 assistant managers – operations, news coordinator, senior producer, channel promotion head, business analysts, pre-sales and support personnel in Ramoji Film City-Hyderabad, Kolkata / Rest of West Bengal & Bhubaneshwar / Rest of Orissa to achieve the objectives of sales, sales promotions, building a network of television software production houses and gaining inroads into large key accounts across nine verticals.

Actively involved in evolving a company specific recruitment and induction and training processes and program.

Developed the strategic operational plan for fiscal year 2006-2007 / 2007-2008.

Actively involved as a team member in designing the company’s HR policies and was also involved in the staffing of technical, administrative, programming, news and marketing / sales professionals.
Branch Assistant Manager – Operations
Dec’02 to Feb’06 with ETV – Bangla & Ushakiron Movies Limited, Kolkata, India
Ushakiron Movies is a company that offers comprehensive production and post-production services for feature films, documentaries, advertisement commercials, music albums. Housed in the State-of-the-art, and now the world’s largest (Guinness records 2005) technical facilities at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, it is a part of the Ramoji group of companies.
Notable Contributions:
- Principle contact for customer relations & technical issues.
- Created, managed and maintained multiple concurrent projects and event production cycles from beginning to end.
- Conceptualized, built and managed in-house audio-video production department.
- Coordinated staff to create multiple concurrent video and media productions.
- Worked closely with clients to produce successful software’s and established office procedures fro production of all media assets.
- Liaison with Statutory Government Agencies/ Depts. viz. Port Trust, ESI, PF, Banks etc
- Independently responsible for successfully wooing the Bengali film productions to produce their commercial feature films at the facilities in Ramoji Film City,Hyderabad, giving additional business of over Rs. 10 crores annually (INR 100 million).
- Very comfortable in handling film-production projects from scratch, including selecting and evaluation of scripts, preparation of script break-downs, scheduling and budgeting of shoots in addition to location scouting, talent and crew scouting etc.

- India Economic Summit 2006, New Delhi in association with World Economic Forum
- Major film festivals in India– IFFI held annual at Goa & earlier at Delhi
- FICCI Frames 2006, Mumbai

Mar’01 to Nov’02 with ETV Bangla (Ushakiron Television), Kolkata Branch
Notable Contributions:
- Managed over 40 client accounts, most with multiple projects.
- Planned, initiated, monitored and adjusted resources to support simultaneous projects.
- Responsible for departmental budgets and purchasing.
- Developed effective customer-centric profitable strategies and maintained Vendor relationships.
- Initiated Cost Controls measures like capturing significant savings through process improvements and cost controls.
